LANDSCAPE EDUCATION FOR DEMOCRACY

The LE:NOTRE Institute recently joined the ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnership 'Landscape Education for Democracy' (LED), which is coordinated by the NMBU Norway in cooperation with four universities.

The idea behind the project is to promote awareness and empower young design and planning professionals to become more active in shaping democratic change. The project employs interdisciplinary, problem-based learning environments and curricular innovation to introduce landscape and democracy as a cross-disciplinary subject.

Our goal is to fill a gap in design and planning education and give students the opportunity to confront themselves with pressing issues of landscape democracy, right to the landscape and participation.

We invite students to participate in the first online seminar of this kind which will start on the 31st of March. Please register before March 22.
